1. Who We Are

Vyager Digital is a digital growth agency operating in South Africa and Brazil. We build client-acquisition systems for expert-service businesses, including websites, landing pages, CRM infrastructure, and campaign management.

This policy applies to all personal information collected through vyager.co and any related communications. References to "we", "us", or "Vyager" mean Vyager Digital.

2. What Information We Collect

We collect only the information you provide directly and what is generated automatically when you use our site.

  • Contact information — name, email address, phone number, and any details you include in a contact or inquiry form
  • Business information — company name, website URL, or service context you share with us
  • Usage data — pages visited, session duration, referral source, device and browser type — collected via Google Analytics and Google Tag Manager
  • Cookies — small files stored by your browser, used for analytics and site functionality (see Section 7)

3. How We Use Your Information

We use your information only for the following purposes:

  • To respond to inquiries and schedule discovery calls
  • To assess whether our services are a relevant fit for your business
  • To send project proposals, scope documents, or follow-up communications at your request
  • To understand how our site is used so we can improve it

We do not use your information for unsolicited marketing campaigns. If you receive a follow-up from us, it will relate directly to an inquiry you initiated.

4. Legal Basis for Processing

We process your personal information under the following bases, depending on your jurisdiction:

  • Consent — when you submit a contact form or book a call, you are providing express consent for us to contact you in connection with that inquiry
  • Legitimate interest — for site analytics that help us understand usage patterns and improve our service, where this does not override your privacy rights
  • Contractual necessity — when processing is required to deliver agreed services to a client

This applies across the jurisdictions in which we operate, including South Africa (POPIA), Brazil (LGPD), and equivalent international standards.

5. Who We Share Data With

We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information. We may share it with trusted service providers who help us operate:

  • Google Analytics / Tag Manager — for site usage measurement (data processed by Google under their own privacy terms)
  • Email delivery services — to send and receive communications related to your inquiry
  • HubSpot — our CRM, used to manage client and prospect communications

All third-party providers are required to handle your data with the same level of care we apply.

6. Data Retention

We retain contact information for as long as is necessary to fulfil the purpose for which it was provided, or as required by law. Inquiry data from contacts who do not proceed to engagement is typically held for no longer than 24 months, after which it is deleted or anonymised.

You may request deletion at any time — see Section 8.

7. Cookies

We use cookies to support site analytics and basic functionality. These include:

  • Analytics cookies — Google Analytics uses cookies to measure visitor behaviour. This data is aggregated and does not personally identify you.
  • Functional cookies — used to remember session preferences where applicable

You can control or disable cookies through your browser settings at any time. Disabling analytics cookies will not affect your ability to use the site.

8. Your Rights

Depending on your jurisdiction, you have the right to:

  • Access the personal information we hold about you
  • Request correction of inaccurate or incomplete information
  • Request deletion of your data ("right to be forgotten")
  • Withdraw consent for processing at any time, without affecting lawfulness of prior processing
  • Object to processing based on legitimate interest
  • Lodge a complaint with your relevant data protection authority (e.g. INCO in South Africa, ANPD in Brazil)

To exercise any of these rights, contact us at hello@vyager.co. We will respond within 30 days.

9. International Transfers

Our operations span South Africa and Brazil. Some service providers (such as Google) may process data in other countries. Where this occurs, we ensure appropriate safeguards are in place consistent with applicable data protection law.

10. Updates to This Policy

We may update this policy from time to time. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page reflects the most recent revision. Continued use of the site after any change constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
